A war born song (With my two cents thrown in all through the song)

Oh say can you see
By the dawns early light

(I really don't think this country does "see" anymore)

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,

(When's the last time we proudly hailed anything having to do with this country?, Until the people in charge of this country aren't, that isn't going to change)

O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there

(It's pathetic that our flag, the symbol of our country, has become something to burn and mutilate in the pursuit of "free speech"... BULLCRAP! )

Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

(Not for long...  We aren't as free as we used to be and the brave are getting very few and far between)
